Expansion & Jointing

Structural grade round dowels allow for movement in the joint to compensate for shrinkage and expansion due to temperature changes. They are friction cut to length, not cropped. They are available in a variety of standard off the shelf sizes and finishes for your convenience.

Expansion joints are used to absorb thermal expansion between concrete slabs. Our expansions joints are easy to use and cut to shape.

Round Dowel Sleeves twist and lock into all Connolly Key Joint and Expansion Joint Systems. The full length sleeve protects the dowel from bonding to concrete. They can be used as a part of the dowel cradle or basket. The length can be cut to suit correct dowel length.

Dowel Cradles are a fully welded wire form that hold dowels at the correct spacing and height to ensure that accurate horizontal and vertical alignment of dowels is maintained during concrete placement. Made from 6mm wire, the cradles form a rigid assembly capable of withstanding the harsh treatment they frequently encounter during construction activities. Made in standard 3.0m lengths they are easy to transport, handle and install, saving both time and money for the contractor.

A compressible joint filler that adopts the shape of expansion joints. These include joint capping, key joints and crack inducers.
